Your future

Depending on your interests and ambitions, as a Master of Jewelry Design & Goldsmithing, you can pursue various paths.

Primarily, you can work as an independent designer/artist, showcasing your creations through exhibitions, fairs, or working directly on commissioned projects.

You may also pursue a career as a goldsmith, working as a collaborator in a studio. Additionally, after obtaining your master's degree, you can pursue an academic career (PhD in the Arts) or teaching.

Investigative Artist-Teacher

The investigative artist-teacher passionately imparts their love for the artistic discipline to diverse audiences within varied art educational contexts. They approach their work with inquiry and reflection, creating artistic depth and always drawing from their unique identity as an artist-teacher. From the outset of the program, you are immersed in a world where both the visual arts (fine arts/designing/creating) and pedagogy (teaching) are integrated. You develop your own art educational profile, seeking a personal language for your art educational practice, culminating your education with a research project and exhibition.

Learning inside and outside the studio

Learning doesn't just happen in the classroom. We prioritize giving you, as an artist-teacher, extensive exposure to and experience in the professional field.

Throughout the program, we strongly emphasize gaining practical experience and participating in internships in various contexts. These internships extend beyond the arts landscape to include (art) secondary education, part-time art education, adult education centers, and also involve museum settings through guided tours and conducting art educational workshops.

A team of educators specializing in pedagogy, visual and participatory arts, and art education will guide and orient you within the art educational field. The professional field also plays a crucial role in mentoring and assessing students during the practical components of the program and the research project.

The program annually organizes a series of lectures and workshops, exposing you to a diverse range of guest speakers. Opportunities for international internships are also available.
